WEEK 2: TUESDAY (HIKE DAY)
MORNING WATCH
Good morning and welcome to a new day at RTLC and a new day of your life. May you see as God sees. May you see the good in God’s creation, the good in others, and the good in yourself.
God looks at all creation, including us and others, and exclaims with passion and purpose, “This is good! Throughout the day today we will explore what this means for those whom we think of as being “in our inner circles.” Each of us is surrounded in life by family members and friends with whom we have relationships. Some of them are especially close to us, and there are others with whom we have more casual connections. In each instance, God calls us to see them as God sees them, refusing to focus on their weaknesses and failings, choosing instead to focus on their goodness and beauty.
